I love niche ideas like these as a marketer. You have a clearly defined audience that you can reach out to and market your extension. If you build this one and need help with marketing it, do reach out.
Idea #3
A chrome extension that would automatically save the images you retweet.
Another niche idea that you can easily market to front-end developers. I have had a hard time marketing to developers as they prefer building their own solutions so you would have a hard time monetizing it.
But there are also developers who love supporting other developers so if you can get your messaging right, you can monetize it too.
