Here’s the latest edition of Chrome Extension Ideas, A newsletter where we share demand-based chrome extension ideas.

Welcome to the 7 new people joining this week! Feel free to reply to this email and let me know how can I make this more useful for you.

Let’s dive into the first idea:

A chrome extension that compares similar items in a category from MercadoLibre and tells you if it is cheaper or more expensive than the rest with a bar.

Similar Solutions:

  1. https://mercadotrack.com/
  2. Amazon Assistant for Chrome
  3. https://historial.com.ar/
  4. http://trycross.com/

There are many more marketplaces like MercadoLibre that are under the radar and underserved. You can try replicating the functionality to those marketplaces and serve a larger customer base.

Let’s move onto the second idea:

A Chrome Extension that pays you for the sites you go to.

Similar Solutions:

  1. https://trakkin.me/
  2. https://www.mytiki.com/
  3. https://brave.com/
  4. https://gener8ads.com/

And if you aren’t already aware, this clip is from My First Million Podcast by Shaan Puri and Sam Parr

And the last idea of this issue:

A Chrome Extension that helps Stackoverflow users copy code.

This was also requested on Stackoverflow more than 2 years ago.

You can also create a system where you charge the copier and pay the author for each time his code gets copied.

Another interesting feature could be a button ‘push to my current branch’ so they won’t have to paste the code either.

Similar Solutions:

  1. https://cheat.sh/
  2. Code Copy
  3. https://www.codegrepper.com/

And that’s a wrap. This took me more than 14 hours to research and filter.

I would really appreciate it if you forward this to someone who would find it helpful.

Thank you.
